Luisa Melendez, 70, of 847 Honeysuckle Drive, Vass passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, July 03, 2021 at 11am at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel

Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg.

She is survived by her children, Beatriz Gill of Kaneohe, HI, Michael Melendez of Huntersville, NC, Amilcar Melendez, Jr. of Charleston, SC and Rebecca Melendez of Lewisburg, TN. Her siblings, Sonja Cruz, Rafael Cruz, Jr, Carmen Cruz and Maria Cruz all of Carolina, PR, Gloria Cruz of Fayetteville, NC, Esteban Lopez Pastrana of Orlando, FL. Beloved step mother, Rosita Cruz and stepfather, Ibrahim Lopez along with eleven grandchildren.
