Marian (Gainey) Bivens

Marian Gainey Bivens, 92, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 03,2024 at 11am at Evans Metropolitan AME Zion Church in Fayetteville. Burial will be in Fort Liberty Main Post Cemetery August 05, 2024 at 11am.

She is survived by a son, Melvin H. Bivens, Jr. (Joyce) of Greensboro; a daughter, Kim Bivens Bazemore (Ray) of Fayetteville; five grandchildren,Kwisha Bivens, Trey Bivens, Marian J.Bivens, all of Greensboro, Kayla Bazemore and Milton R. Bazemore, both of Charlotte. Sisters, Gwendolyn Mullins of Shaker Heights, Ohio and Retha McDonald (Larry) of Rockingham. Brothers, Andre Gainey of Fayetteville, Ronald Gainey (Brenda) of Cheltenham, MD and Michael Gainey (Evelyn) of Baltimore, MD.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 02, 2024 from 5-7pm.
