Mary Veronica Lucas, 72, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Johnston Health in Smithfield.

Memorial services are being planned for a later date.

She is survived by a daughter, Krystal Lucas Tucker of Garner. A sister, Theresa L. Tucker of Fayetteville; brothers, John D. Lucas, Jr. of New Haven, CT and Delano T Lucas of Fayetteville. (James Lucas, deceased); a grand daughter, Jasmine Krystina Tucker of Garner, along with her companion, Joseph Cisco of Fayetteville.
