Mattie Hemingway, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday. July 06, 2026.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 12 noon at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis Hemingway of the home. A daughter, Brenda Hemingway of Stedman; sons, Gregory Hemingway and Ardie Hemingway both of Fayetteville and Terry Hemingway of Lillington, along with sixteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10am-11:30am.
