Mattie Mae (Myers) Hodge

Mattie Mae Hodge gained her wings and was called home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2025, at the age of 82. Mattie had such a selfless, humble, and loving personality. She would give her last to anyone and would not think twice about it. Rest in Peace, Power & Paradise! You will truly be missed by all. We All Love You!

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 03, 2025 at 12 noon at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her children, Gregory Sanders, Felicia Catchings, Ernest Hodge, Maggie B. Hodge-Murray, Tami Harris and Norman Hodge. Grandchildren, Tionnah Gipson, Ajani Hodge, Trammel Murray, Jamel Hodge and Noah Hodge. Great grandchildren, Bryce Gipson, Carter Gipson, Serenity Murray and Da’Von Gipson. Sisters, Margaret Patterson, Cynthia Walden, Sharon Walden, Judy King, Gloria King, Arrissa Mong, Shilon Rogers, Andrenett Joseph, Minnie McCollum ,Carolyn Colbert, and Kreasey Patterson. Brothers, Michael Colbert, Marvin Colbert, Jr., and Sylvester Colbert.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 02, 2025 from 5-7pm
