Michael Darnell Rich

Michael Darnell Rich, 51, of 4135 Edward E. Maynor Drive, Hope Mills passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. 

He was an athletic advisor and assistant basketball coach at Fayetteville State University.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 1pm at Kingdom Impact Global Ministries. Entombment will follow at Rockfish Memorial Park.

Michael Rich, beloved son, father, brother, grandson, cousin and loyal friend is survived by Michael Darnell Rich II and Kyle Clarke; mother H. Pat Douglas (Ron), Deceased father Michael Rich(Denise); The Love of His Life Jill Rich; siblings Kyle Evans (BJ)  and Tarsha Cavanaugh(Donald); Aunt Paulette Ballard, Uncles Glenn Mitchell,  David Rich and Mark Rich; Mike’s love is cherished to the highest power to nieces, nephews, cousins, “friends/brothers”, “friends/aunts”, “friends/uncles”, “friends/cousins”, colleagues and students, The Pittsburgh Steelers and all of the golf courses he’s ever played.

A viewing will be held at the church Saturday from 12:15pm-1pm.
