Mr. Augusta Smallwood

Mr. Augusta Smallwood, 84, of 1217 Kienast Drive, Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, March 04, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 12:30pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Liberty.

He is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Smallwood, grandchildren, Joi’ and Ruben Smallwood of Fayetteville, N.C., Tanisha Baldwin (Killen, TX ), and Edward Baldwin Jr. (Columbus, GA), great-grandson- Legend Singleton (Fayetteville, NC) siblings, Anna S. Noel (Baton Rouge, LA),and Emma L. Thompson (Avondale, LA), numerous nieces, nephews, great and grand nieces and nephews, cousins, family friend Francis G. Henyard, numerous cousins and associates.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:30am until 12:30pm, prior to the service.
