He is survived by his wife, Lorna James, Fayetteville, NC, Sons, Akono (Sidney I. James, Jr.), Kissimmee, FL, Carlos Braxton, Wilmington, NC, Zebedee James, Durham, NC, Zechariah James, Ft. Worth, TX, Isaac James, Fayetteville, NC, Israel James, Stedman, NC, Caleb James, Stedman, NC. Daughters, Joanne Whaley, SC, Tonia Warren, Raeford, NC, Rebecca James-White, Stedman, NC, Rachel James, Spring Lake, NC and Anna James, Lumberton, NC, along with thirty-nine grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
