Stonie Bass

With utmost grief and sorrow, the family of Stonie Bass announce his earthly departure on Monday, February 15, 2021.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 12:30pm at Simon Temple AME Zion Church in Fayetteville (Invitation Only). Burial will follow in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg.

He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis, daughter, Mitzi, granddaughter, Sasha. Sisters, Queen Travis, Washington, DC, Lucille Bradley, Severn, MD, Janie Davidson & Iola Bass Durham, NC and host friends & family.

A viewing will be held Monday from 1:30-3:30pm at Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home, 87 Brookland Church Road, HWY 158 East in Roxboro.

A viewing will also be held at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations in Fayetteville on Tuesday from 3-6pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Ministry of Kindness for Health
