Tommy Chance, 60, formerly of Wade passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 03, 2019 at 12 noon at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel with Pastor Eugene Neal officiating. Burial will  follow in Rockfish Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Sharlene Carmen Chance of the home. Children, Sharlisa Chance of Garner, Tony Chance of Fayetteville and Tiana Chance of Raleigh. Sisters, Lorraine Williams of Fayetteville, Roberta Best of Clinton, Lula Brown of Long Beach, CA, Barbara McKenzie of Inman, SC, Ruth Bailey of Laurel MD and Mary McDonald of Fayetteville. Brothers, Samuel Chance, John Chance, Willie Chance and Robert Chance all of Fayetteville. Donnell Chance of Bunnlevel, Terry Chance of New Rochelle, NY and  James Chance of Fredricksburg, VA along with three grandchildren and a great grandchild.

A viewing ill be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5-7pm.
