Towanna Gainey Obituary

Towanna Rose Gainey, 53, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 04, 2024 at 11am at Evans Metropolitan AME Zion Church in Fayetteville. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park.

She is survived by a daughter, Skye Gainey of Fayetteville. Her mother, Retha McDonald of Rockingham. Sisters, Tisha Steward of Las Vegas, NV, Shuanette Gaddy and Lydia McDonald, both of Fayetteville, April McNeil of Washington, DC and Phyllis Spearman of Charlotte. Brothers, Horace Steward of Lemoore, CA, Josiah McNeil of Phoenix, AZ and Cebron Mercer of Richmond, VA.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5-7pm.
