Troy L. Kultgen, 54, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, in Fayetteville NC. He was born May 7, 1968, in Hutchinson Kansas.
After attending Buhler schools. He was a jack of all trades, heavy equipment operator, truck driver, automotive technician, EMT, construction worker, and tire rebuilder. If there was something he didn’t know how to do, he always said that he graduated from YouTube University. He earned 30 different certifications ranging from CPR, Fire Fighting, to gaining a Blaster Permit.
Troy was known for his big personality, sense of humor, infectious laugh, and generosity. He was always happiest when he was enjoying life with his family and friends. He loved woodworking, riding ATV’s, traveling, camping and most of all cooking. He looked forward to his yearly Labor Day trip to the lake with his favorite cousin, Tara.
He is survived by one brother and two sisters: Bodie of San Francisco, CA, Renee (Brian) of Smith Center KS, Anita (Kenny) of Fayetteville, NC. He will be fondly remembered by his nephews, and nieces as being the fun uncle, as well as, a very special little boy who was like a son/grandson, Angel Zubia.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Mary and Orrin Dodge.
Per his wishes, Troy has been cremated and did not want a funeral.
