Valerie (Thorpe) Coley

Valerie Coley, 61, of 731 Barnes Drive, Spring Lake passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021.

Valerie was born December 27, 1959 to the late Gloria Stevens and Henry Thorpe in Washington, D.C. 

She went to Bancroft Elementary School and Alice Deal in Washington, DC before moving to NC in 1975. She learned to play the piano at a young age and loved to swim. She was a very good mother and grandmother and loved by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Robert of the home. Her father, Thomas Thorpe of Rocky Mount. Her daughter Tamika of Philadelphia, two grandchildren; her sister Barbara, brothers Charles and Kevin all of Maryland, and Tommy of Philadelphia.
