Walter Lee Monroe, Jr.

Walter Lee Monroe, Jr., 69, of 1923 Armstrong Street, Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday 12 noon at Freedom Temple of Deliverance in Fayetteville. Burial will follow in Northside Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughters, Katina Gilmore, LaShonda Jones, Da'Nivea Sloan, and Latina McArthur all of Fayetteville, Gwendolyn Johns of Zebulon and Chancella Burns of Wilmington. Sons, Walter Franklin, Craig Lilly, Trevor Holmes, Pedro Goolsby, Billy Page, Rodriquez Jones and Perry Lamont Sykes all of Fayetteville and Malakai Monroe of Spring Lake. Sisters, Arlene Monroe, Stephanie Munn and Ola Mae Gamble all of Fayetteville along with forty-two grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7pm.
