William T. McNeill

William “Billy” Thomas McNeill, 76, of Greensboro, formerly of Dunn, passed away on Thursday, October 03, 2024. 

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 3-6pm at McNeil Memorial Baptist Church in Dunn. 

William leaves to cherish his memories the mothers of his children, Brenda Hood, Minnie Crite, and Delona Curtis; children John McDougald, Shawnee McDougald, William Hood Sr., Tonia McDougald, Rhonda Bellinger, Angela McNeill and Lauren (Rick) Damon; grandchildren Xavier (Zunaire) Shakur, William (Jasmine) Hood Jr., Miles Hood, Dominique Underwood, Allan James, Asia Archer, Ayanna Thompson, Jorryn Bellinger, Jasmine Bellinger, Sienna Hood, Serianna Hood, Carolyn Daman and McRae Hood; and great-grandchildren Egypt McDougald and Ari Hood; his siblings, Rutha Simmons, Christine McNeill, Florence (Robert) Hicks, Helen McNeill and Linwood McNeill; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
 
William was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Paul (Dorothy) McNeill Jr. and Anthony (Essie) McNeill, nephew Christopher Paul McNeill and grand-daughter Tulvel McDougald.
