Willie Roger Cummings

SFC (Ret) Willie R. Cummings, US ARMY,  98, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 1pm at First Baptist Church, 302 Moore Street, Fayetteville. Burial will be at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie Cummings of the home. A daughter, Col. (Ret) Edna W. Cummings of Laurel, MD; a niece, Jacqueline Evans of Odenton, MD, along with two grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 12 noon-1 pm.
