Willie James Gamble

Willie James Gamble, 73, of 3925 Eastdale Drive, Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 1pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel with military honors. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Gamble of the home, Children, Christopher Gamble (Angela) and Tamika Gamble (Marcus), both of Fayetteville. Siblings, Rena Beard, Leroy Gamble and Edward Earl Gamble (Uranga), all of Fayetteville and Barbara Jean Johnson (Carl) of Augusta, GA, along with four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7pm.
