Winfred L. Best

Winfred L. Best, 62, of 2719 Edwards Avenue, Spring Lake, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Liberty.

He is survived by his wife, Patrilla Best. A daughter, Ashley Best. His mother, Mae G. Stevens, along with siblings, Romona Williams and Nona Best both of Garner, Nora Surles (Billy), Regina Watson, Mae Best, Lucas Stevens (Erica), all of Princeton, Renee Anderson (Kevin) of Clayton and Reginald Best (Evalena) of Pikeville, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at Casey Funeral Home, 105 East 1st Street, Princeton, NC.
