CSM  (RET) Ford Johnson Jr, 86, of 1706 Edgecomb Avenue, Fayetteville, died Tuesday January 9, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 12:30pm at Second Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Fort Bragg with full military honors.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae "Mae Mae" Johnson of the home.  Son, Robert Dezell Johnson of Las Vegas, NV.  Sisters, Ernestine Bradford and Elizabeth Mayweather both of LA, Ruth Mitchell of TX. A brother, Albert Johnson of IL.  Three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Monday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
