Katie Melvin, 77, of 4559 Kirkshaw Road, Hope Mills, NC died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at home.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2pm at First Missionary Baptist Church in Roseboro with Rev. John T. Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Ricky Melvin of Fayetteville and Henry Melvin of Wallace. Daughter, Kathrine McKinnon of Fayetteville. along with seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Sunday from 2 until 4pm at the funeral home.
