Willie James Murphy, 83, of 3103 Wedgewood Drive, Fayetteville, died Thursday, November 29, 2016 at the home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:30am at Praise Fellowship Church of God with Bishop Richard N. Williford, II officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by a daughter, Sheila D. Murphy of Fayetteville. A son, William Murphy of Winston-Salem. A sister, Shirley Mack of St.Pauls. Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 09, 2016 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.

At the family's request, no flowers please.
