Curtis Howard Wisher III, affectionately known as “CJ”, was born on December 6, 1991 to Curtis and Deborah Wisher Jr., in Dover, Delaware.  He departed this life on January 30, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. 

            Curtis graduated from EE Smith High School in 2010.  He later continued his education at Miller-Motte College where he successfully completed the Barbering Program graduating in October 2015.  Curtis was employed at Phoenix Incorporated delivering construction materials to various businesses.  He was a kind and loving person, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was also an avid North Carolina Panthers football fan.Curtis previously served in the House of Manna and with Security department at True Vine Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Ernest Jones.  He will be forever remembered by his love and devotion to his family and friends. 

            Curtis was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, DelemiaCale-Daniels, paternal great-grandparents, Theodore and Blanche Wisher, John and Katherine Bleen, maternal great-grandfather, Wilmer Gibson Sr.

            He leaves to cherish his memory,parents,Curtis and Deborah Wisher Jr., one sister Sha’Krie Wisher, paternal grandparents, Curtis and Shelden Wisher Sr., maternal grandfather, Charles L. Jackson Sr., all of Dover, Delaware, maternal great-grandmother Helen Gibson, aunts Tamara (Harold) Hazzard of Lincoln, Delaware, Shelden Wisher of Fayetteville, North Carolina, uncles Daverin Wisher of Dover, Delaware and Charles Jackson Jr., of Smyrna, Delaware. Curtis and his cousin, Ronald L. Sudler III,were extremely close.They were raised together and grew upmore like brothers than cousins.  Curtis is also survived by his significant other, Olivia Hales anda host of close relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1pm at True Vine Ministries in Fayetteville with Dr. Ernest Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Northside Cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
