I'm so sadden to hear of Dr. Larry's passing. I literally was thinking about him today and decided to google him. He was my client when his book came out in 2004. I remember him fondly because he was one of the most kindest person who had great love of GOD and his family. He had impeccable integrity. We promoted his book (not that he wanted to make money off it) but because he wanted to start a movement - that all us must love our families and put them FIRST. He did that. I know he is peaceful in heaven. That I am sure. My condolences to his wife and family. He will be missed.

I met Dr. Harris when I moved to Fayetteville,NC because my husband deployed there for the airforce. He was funny but stern at the same time. One day I walk in and was told I was to be the charge nurse. I must say I did not think anything of it. Dr. Harris was very impressed saying "What we have a Mexican charge nurse? I guess It was the first time for that facillitie. He just keep raising his arms saying stand up. I will always remember that and told my kids that. Basically never give up you can reach the skys. Your love one will always be remembered.

I just heard of Dr. Harris' passing. Dr. Harris was my children's pediatrician from the time they were born until they both went off to college. My children, Jennifer and Jerry, both loved him. He was kind and had a wonderful "bedside manner." He was an excellent physician. We were very sorry to hear of his death. I just wanted his family to know how he touched our lives. He was truly a blessing to us and his other patients.

Dr. Harris was a wonderfully caring pediatrician. This community has lost a great advocate for children. It was a pleasure to have worked with him and an even greater pleasure to entrust the care of our two children to him until he became ill. The Stokes Family will forever be grateful for his care. Our children remember him fondly for all he has done for them.

Our deepest condolences to the family. May you be comforted by the words of
1Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Dr. Harris was a kind, loving, compassionate and personable doctor. He was my four children's pediatrician from infancy until they reached adulthood. He always had words of wisdom, advice and encouragement to give the children, as well as parents, to make them reach for goals that would enhance their lives and make them be the best they could possibly be. He always encouraged the children to get an education, be involved in sports, etc., to always strive for obtaining their goal to make it in life. He will be greatly missed. Deepest condolences and sympathy to the family.

Dr. Harris will truly be missed. He was a great person and doctor. He provided the best medical care for our children from our first birth back in 2000 to the time of his retirement. Dr. Harris genuinely cared about the well being of our kids. Never was there a time that he didn't ask about their grades or their extracurricular activities. I could not have asked for a better pediatrician. I pray that God bless and comfort his family.

Dr. Harris was my children's pediatrician from birth until they felt they were "too big" to sit in the waiting room with the other "children". He even took the time to call and comfort me when I lost my second son, who was born prematurely, at 4 months old. His bed side manner was wonderful and he will truly be missed.

To the Family of Dr. Harris:

You have all my sympathies and the deepest thanks I can imagine for the life and work of Dr. Harris.

Dr. Harris saved my life multiple times from several severe and rare illnesses I've had in my childhood and teenage years. Today, I'm able to enjoy my life and future as a healthy young man thanks to Dr. Harris' skill, knowledge, compassion, and unending dedication to his patients. I remember his cheer and wit vividly despite not having seen him for many years. And his care went beyond physical health. He would frequently offer me kind words of encouragement and praise for doing well in school. Larry Harris was—and is—an extraordinary spirit, and I'm very thankful for his time spent with us on Earth.
