MSGT. James W. Ball, ARMY (Ret), 73, Fayetteville, died Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11am at Williams Chapel Church in Spring Lake with Apostle Kimberly Nixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Ft. Bragg.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Ball of the home. Daughter, Tracey Ball of Raleigh. Brother, Solomon Ball of Arkansas and a grandson, Jordan Ball.

A viewing will be held on Thursday from 5-7pm at the funeral home
