Maurice Simpson, 54, of 112 Hardison Hills Court, Jacksonville,formerly of Fayetteville, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at Wake Med Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 30, 2016  at 2:00 pm at Sam's Spring AME Zion Church in Roseboro, NC with Rev. John Melvin officiating.

He is survived by his children, Martina Johnson of Fayetteville and Najee Simpson of Garner; father, Herman Simpson of Autryville;  sister, Sandra Owens and a brother, Patrick Simpson both of Fayetteville.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
