Najee, Bruh so sorry about the loss of your father. Mr.Simpson was a nice man & I loved all the conversations we were able to have. I prayed & thought that you two had many more years together once our prayers were answered with his new heart and all, but I guess God said that the one he got wasn't good enough & decided to bless him with a brand new one in which only he could give! I thank the Lord for the extra time you did get to spend with him. It's strange how things happen when my Mom & I talked a few days before his passing about paying you all a visit to see how he's been. I guess it wasn't meant to be. Just remember God makes no mistakes. Be grateful;be thankful for all the times you spent together & every phone call you ever made to each other. Memories never die. He loved you & I can say that he was proud of you! He taught you well & raised you to be a good young man. Make him more proud beyond these days & be the strong young man he raised you to be. I'm here for you & call me anytime you need me or just to talk . Prayers are lifted for you, your sister & the rest of your family. We send peace , love , & our heartfelt sympathy from your friend Jermaine,my sister Ashley, My parents; James & Lori Royster

To the Simpson Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Maurice "Rock" touched so many lives for the good. We shared some of the best memories as teenagers working on cars and just hanging out. Nobody could tell a story like Rock. I am grateful for having the chance to know him as both a friend and classmate (at Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School "Go Raiders" and Lakewood High School "Leopards"). I will always cherish those memories of fun times we had together and hope you too can find comfort in your memories.
