Alene Smith, 96, of 509 Tipperary Court, Fayetteville, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 11am at Evening Light Holiness Church in Garland. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West in Fayetteville.

She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Johnson of Raleigh and Shirley Walden of Fayetteville. Son, Earl Smith of Fayetteville. Sister, Lula Harris of Newark, NJ., five grandchildren and a great grandchild.

A viewing will be held from 4-6pm Saturday at the funeral home.
